However, it is difficult to resist telling you about a stunning sparkling wine from Switzerland or how encouraged we were by the contributions from the Americas. Most notably, a Chardonnay from Brazil, a Carménère from Chile and a red Zinfandel from California. Other worthwhile discoveries include a Sauvignon Blanc from India, a Cabernet Sauvignon blend from China and a delightful Pinot Noir from Stratford-upon-Avon. Old world enthusiasts will never be let down. We have ready access to great wines, from great winemakers, in some of the world's greatest wine regions.
